Biography
After graduating from Rutgers University School of Law, I practiced law in a small firm in New Jersey for 8 months prior to being commissioned in the United States Army Judge Advocate General’s Corps. While serving on active duty in the Washington D.C., area, I obtained my LLM in Tax Law from Georgetown University.
After serving on active duty for three years, I moved to Arizona and have practiced law in Arizona since 1982, initially with Lane & Ehrlich, Ltd. until May,2017; and then continued to practice as a solo practitioner until April, 2020 when I joined the Phoenix office of Spencer Fane LLP.
In addition to my active duty service, I served 27 years in the United States Army Reserve in the Judge Advocate General’s Corps with various assignments in Arizona and California with overseas tours in Japan and Germany. I retired from the U.S. Army Reserve in 2009 as a Colonel.
My wife and I are residents of Phoenix and enjoy travel and the arts, actively supporting the Phoenix Symphony and Arizona Theatre Company.
In additon to being a member of the Trust and Estate, Tax and Business Law Sections of the State Bar, I am an active member of the Central Arizona Estate Planning Council having previosly served on its Board of Directors for three years.
I take pride in my past service to my country and to my clients.
